This program invites artists, designers, and technologists to explore how art and technology can create immersive, multisensory experiences. By combining human-centered artistic sensibilities with advanced tools, our goal is to open new horizons for sensory interaction and establish a creative ecosystem rooted in the harmony between human senses and technology.
Program Goals
Building a Creative Platform
- Provide space and resources for artists to experiment with multimodal design and creative expression.
- Support creations that integrate diverse artworks or installations with multisensory experiences by incorporating interactive technologies such as sensors, lighting, haptics, and sound systems.
Researching the Integration of Technology and Sensory Art
- Explore methodologies for blending multimodal design into artistic practice.
- Encourage collaboration between technical experts and artists to foster creativity and innovation.
Education and Community Building
- Host workshops and seminars to share knowledge of multimodal design for creators.
- Promote cross-disciplinary learning, bringing together participants from art, design, and technology fields.
- Showcase artistic creations to local communities, highlighting the value of multimodal design.
Providing Participatory Art Experiences
- Plan immersive exhibitions that invite audiences to become part of the artwork, engaging directly with it.
- Enable interactive experiences through movement, voice, biometric signals, and other sensory inputs.
Establishing a Sustainable Creative Ecosystem
- Operate a residency program for local artists, providing a space for sustainable creative growth.
- Develop methods to preserve and maintain creative works in the long term.
Program Structure
Creative Residency Program
- Participants will have access to technical equipment, dedicated workspace, and mentorship from experts.
- Projects will integrate multimodal technologies (e.g., sensors, voice recognition, tactile feedback) with various artistic practices.
- Participants will present their progress during regular work-sharing meetings and discuss their processes with mentors and peers.
Exhibition and Presentation
- Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their works to local and international communities.
